PRIVATE COMMUNITY AND COACHING
PRACTICAL SUPPORT FOR
DRINKING LESS DURING THE HOLIDAYS AND BEYOND

You decided you’d drink less this holiday season OR IN GENERAL

Let’s make that decision easier to follow through on.

Maybe you’re tired of drinking more than you meant to. Maybe you want better mornings. Or maybe you want to enjoy the holidays or social events without alcohol being such a big part of them.

Then come the invitations, the family dynamics, the refilled glasses, and the evenings when a drink sounds like the easiest way to switch off.

The Sober Curious Support Community is designed to help you change how you drink this holiday season, and beyond with practical coaching and people working toward the same thing.

Drink less, take a break, or skip alcohol altogether. You don’t have to decide forever.

What it includes:

  • Private members only online support community of other individuals navigating the same difficulties and learning what helps them.

  • Weekly live coaching session via video with Pam Dobbie and other coaches.

  • Bonus: Nervous system based sobriety course

Led by Pam Dobbie, LPC, with 22+ years of counseling experience, including 18 years in substance use counseling.

Done is a coaching and education group, not therapy.

What would you like to do differently this year?

Go to dinner without spending the evening negotiating with yourself about another glass.

Answer “Why aren’t you drinking?” without explaining your whole life.

Come home from a difficult day with another way to unwind.

Wake up without wondering why you drank more than you planned.

That’s what we’ll work on, using the situations happening in your life each week.

Bring the moment that usually gets you.

The family gathering where someone always makes a comment.

The friend who keeps topping off your glass.

The evening when you’re tired, irritated, and done taking care of everyone.

Together, we’ll work out:

  • What sets the pattern in motion: stress, habit, social pressure, or wanting relief.

  • What to do when you want a drink: practical ways to pause and respond to the urge.

  • What to say to other people: responses you can use without apologizing or overexplaining.

  • How to make gatherings easier: decide what you’ll drink, what boundaries you need, and when you’ll leave.

  • How to keep going after a difficult night: learn from it without giving up on what you wanted.

You’ll have a plan to try, a place to talk through what happened, and another opportunity to adjust it.

help while you’re actually making the change.

Reading advice is one thing. Using it at a crowded table or at the end of an exhausting day is another.

Each week, we’ll combine practical teaching with conversation and coaching around what’s coming up for you.

You can bring a specific situation, ask questions, or listen and learn from others. The following week, we’ll look at what helped, what got in the way, and what to try next.

Your enrollment includes:

  • Live 60-minute online video/Zoom sessions.

  • Direct guidance from Pam.

  • Practical tools for cravings, stress, social pressure, and familiar drinking patterns.

$97 for the full six weeks, about $24 per session.

A note from Pam

I know this territory professionally and personally.

I’ve spent 18 years working in substance use counseling,

and I’ve also walked the path of changing my own relationship with alcohol.

I created this community because deciding to drink differently can leave you

with a lot of practical questions. What do I say? What do I do instead?

How do I handle the people who liked things the way they were?

We can work through those questions together, while you’re living them.

With care,
Pam

A few questions you might have

Do I have to stop drinking completely?

No. You can work toward drinking less, taking a break, or spending the holidays without alcohol.

What if I drink more than I intended?

You can bring that experience to the group. We’ll look at what happened and what could help next time. You don’t have to meet your goal every week to belong here.

Do I have to talk?

You can share as much or as little as you choose. Listening is a valid way to participate.

Is this therapy?

No. This community provides coaching, support, and education. It does not provide substance use treatment or medical withdrawal support. If you experience withdrawal symptoms when you cut back, this group alone is not appropriate for that need.

What if I miss a session?

Sessions are not recorded to protect participants’ privacy. You can return the following week and continue with the group.

Make room for a different kind of holiday season and sober curious lifestyle this year.

Less time debating the next drink. More confidence in your choices. Help with the moments that make change difficult.
