What should i read first?

Start here

Surviving Mold: Life in the Era of Dangerous Buildings by Ritchie Shoemaker, MD. The foundation text for the CIRS framework: how a water-damaged building drives a chronic inflammatory response in genetically susceptible people.

Mold Warriors by Ritchie Shoemaker, MD. The earlier book, written as the story of how the pattern was first recognized.

Toxic by Neil Nathan, MD. A practitioner's guide to the overlap of mold illness, Lyme, chemical sensitivity and chronic environmental illness, with a strong focus on sensitivity and sequencing.

The nervous system layer

Most mold reading stops at the body. The part that decides whether a recovery holds is how the system responds once the exposure is gone. That is the work of The Adaptive Communication Lens™ and The Mold Recovery Method™ Experience.

By condition

Mold illness and CIRS. The Shoemaker books above, then Toxic for the sensitivity and sequencing layer.

MCAS. Start with my article The Histamine Connection: Why Mold Illness and MCAS Almost Always Show Up Together.

The books and organizations that explain the mechanism, in the order I would read them.
